Five month check up...

...went great.

He is on track with all of his development and growth. Jack's diet not included rice cereal, pears, sweet potatoes, avocado, peaches and bananas. He gets solids twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. He has become proficient at eating off of a spoon and learned to open wide. Avocados seem to be his least favorite. Everything else is great.

His measurements came in at 16lbs and 3oz and 27 inches long.

Over the last couple of days he has become quite a mover. A combination of rolling and "inching" can carry him quite a distance. He has perfected rolling back to front and front to back.

He loves to be tickled and play "Upppppp...downnnnn."

Jack also has his first helmet adjustment yesterday, no big deal really. We did have to wait quite a while.

There has been a develpomet though since he has gotten to where he can wear his helmet 23 hours a day...his head smells like a middle school boys locker room. It is that bad. I feel horrible for him. We clean the helmet religiously. The helmet lady, Nancy, said that it was just part of it. We refuse to believe that we are going to have to live with that smell for the next six months...so we frebreezed it. We'll let you know how it turns out.

  5. I wish there was a device that captured smell, kind of like a camera captures a picture. I want to share this smell with everyone.
